HBV in liver disease: Typically, liver disease is a reason to give hepatitis B (HBV) and hepatitis A (HAV) vaccines, rather than a reason not to.  When liver cells are damaged, such as in liver disease, AST and ALT (enzymes within liver cells) are high on blood tests.  People with chronic liver disease are at increased risk for severe complications of viral hepatitis such as hepatitis A or hepatitis B.

Vaccine unlikely to: cause liver injury, which is usually detected by analyzing AST and ALT.  Mild elevations of AST and ALT might be seen from inflammation of the muscle of the thigh from the injection itself, but this quickly resolves.  The vaccine has had extensive studies and is highly recommended.

: There is more than one cause of elevated IgG. Given your history, it likely reflects chronic inflammation. It is the expected response of immune system. It is more important to address the reason for the blood test than the slight increase in IgG.

Why is SGPT high?: How high is the enzyme level. While elevated SGPT by itself is not a contraindication to hep b vaccination, you should consult your doctor for investigation. If you drink alcohol, stop entirely and re test in three months.

Many possibilities: Why vivitrol to begin with?  Either hx of drugs or alcohol both if which affect the liver as does vivitrol or by vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine). Now depending on your past history I assume you have been checked for hepatitis. Many reasons for irritated liver enzymes. I am sure your doctor is monitoring

alt elevated for a year are around 120, most recent it jumped to 200. all other blood work good, cbc, pt, and hep. notice in last few months alot of red veins on ribs, chest, and around eyes.  should i get a liver biopsy or run any hormone tests?

Need more info: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests as s/he knows more about your health. Having said that, abstain from alcohol and tylenol, if you are overweight, lose weight,
