If virus present : Herpes can be spread through genital to mouth contact if the virus is currently shedding regardless of how long the infection  has been present in your body. One should avoid contact during an outbreak or when symptoms are present.

Genital or oral sex: Genital herpes due to HSV1 is not commonly spread at all, a lot less than HSV2. Outbreaks and asymptomatic viral shedding are infrequent. But transmission is possible by intercourse (genital to genital) or oral sex (genital to mouth). GH doesn't cause leg pain or give "prickly sensations" -- maybe rarely just before an outbreak, but never the only symptom and never lasting more than 1-2 days.

Unlikely: If you were immmune suppressed this could conceivably occur, but generally the herpetic recurrences happen at the same site repeatedly and do not spread.

It : It is highly unlikely. Herpes simplex virus 2 is a fragile virus, released from active (and latent) sores on the genitals and is spread by direct skin to skin contact with genitals or mouth. Having said that, it is possible to spread genital herpes to the mouth by way of direct contact.
Also, it is best to avoid sexual contact when both of you have active sores. It is recommended that you each consider taking suppressive medication therapy to decrease the risk of outbreaks.

: No risk at all. People with HSV are immune to new infections with the same HSV type they already have. They almost never transfer the infection to different body areas. For the same reason, if your genital herpes is HSV2, you will never catch HSV2 again from a sex partner. Don't worry at all about this.

: HSV is basically spread by skin to skin contact. Although it's theoretically possible to transmit it by sharing a glass or straw, it's a very,very low likelihood. HSV can be transmitted without having an outbreak, but I wouldn't worry about your scenario.

No: Once the herpes virus is in your system, it is in your system.  You can not reinfect yourself by touching a sore and then touching other mucus membranes.  Typically herpes virus is either in genital region or mouth but the virus can attack any mucus membranes and on occasion the oral version can create ulcers on the genitals and vice versa

Herpes Transmission: Herpes simplex virus (hsv) has two types: type i generally infects the mouth and produces "fever blisters".  Type ii more commonly is genital.  However, performing oral sex on someone infected with hsv i or ii  can result in oral herpes.  There are blood tests that can quickly determine if you've been infected with either strain.  Antivirals help to reduce shedding and infection.
