Tough case: There are a number of possibilities.  It is important to insure there is nothing physically under your lid so flushing out with an eye wash is a good place to start.  This can also be a symptoms of dry eyes which over the counter tear drops can relieve.  The surrounding symptoms are important.  If these two simple solutions do not resolve your concern I would recommend you see an Ophthalmologist.

Tincture of time: Mostly it will resorb over time, but to help it, avoid taking medicines which thin the blood (ibuprofen, advil, aleve, (naproxen) aspirin), rubbing the area.

Iritis stye bleph: Photophobia and soreness indicates possible iritis..  Other possibilities,  eyelid hordeolum or blepharitis

Bruise: The common bruise will discolor the skin starting with a dark blue hue and slowly lightening over a period of three or four weeks to finally completely resolve.  No treatment is usually necessary for the bruise.  However if the structures under the bruise are injuried, then you should see your doctor.

i landed on my head and my knees kicked straight into my left eye. will i likely get a bruise?

Not always: The eye bones almost certainly prevented significant eye damage.  But the force of the knee blow to the tissue over these bones could have broken capillaries and may cause some degree of bleeding leading to a black eye.  You can help reduce this by ice packs for several days.  Otherwise make up a good story to tell your friends about how it happened.

See the eye doctor.: It may be simply dryness of the eye that artificial tears will help. To be sure, you need to see your eye doctor and discuss this.

No: If you did not lose consciousness and you remember what happened,it is highly unlikely that you have sustained a serious brain injury. Your symptoms are expected in a minor head injury.

: This sounds like a pretty serious problem, maybe an internal eye infection (endophthalmitis), which could damage the eye and risk blindness. It isn't necessarily related to snorting heroin or anything else. He should return to a doctor immediately like ER or urgent care clinic. He may need consultation with an ophthalmologist, infectious diseases specialist, and/or neurologist. Don't delay!
