No: Benadryl (diphenhydramine) capsules aren't breakable, I am not sure if tablet forms are scored, or there are tablet form, if half the dose is needed, the liquid form can be used instead.

: Never heard of bugs cutting people.  Show them to local Dr who my recognize them.

i cut back to one a night on benadryl (diphenhydramine) and zocor, i was taking 2, i sleep a lot better now too, and i also remember dreams more. any caffeine in them?

No caffeine: Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is not effective as a sleep aid and has never improved sleep any more than a sugar pill (placebo) in good studies.  It can, however, reduce quality of sleep or in some people actually keep you up by causing agitation (more likely in children though)  Zocor is unlikely to affect sleep.  
3mg of melatonin taken 4hours before bedtime can be a safe and effective OTC sleep aid in some people.

Hives: Hives are an allergic reaction.  There are many possible causes of hives-foods, medications, infections, inflammatory or autoimmune conditions. Did you start any new meds, supplements, foods, etc? Recent onset hives, if there is no apparent cause, are treated with antihistamines.  Hives lasting &gt; 6 weeks need a workup to look for causes. Please see your dermatologist right away for evaluation.

See GYN: Many potential causes including contact allergy to vaginal cream , latex , or even semen.  Yeast infection may occasionally cause itching as well. Need to get examined by a GYN&gt;

congestion prob:flonase has drastically slowed my body's healing time, made my hair thin & otc meds like zyrtec alone just don't cut it. that & i cant handle the drowsiness benadryl (diphenhydramine) induces. ideas?

Doubt it is: The flonase. It is only absorbed about 1-2% so it should not affect your body's healing time or cause your hair to thin out. If you need it for congestion you should use it. If you have a problem with healing time and thinning hair at your age you have another medical problem that needs to be evaluated and you should talk it over with your doctor!

Depends: Some Diphenhydramine comes in capsules and some in solid pills.  You can cut the pills but the capsules will just squish, break open and spill the contents.  If capsules are all you have, you can dissolve the contents in water and drink half or something we do with patients at times is to mix it with jello and have them eat the proper amount.

: Hard to say exactly, somewhere between 2 and 10 hours probably, assuming everything works like it is supposed to.
