Yes: Trichomoniasis can be treated without a doctor&#x27;s office visit, but it usually requires an office visit to make the diagnosis.  Trichomoniasis is diagnosed by seeing the parasite under a microscope. Here are some ...: You have received the antibiotics of choice for treating chlamydia. So, just complete their use as prescribed and follow the instructions from your doctor. Besides, always have partner to be treated and followed. Meanwhile, upgrade practicing safe sex to minimize recurrence / reinfection.

Yes: If you are comfortable doing this it should not be an issue for your partner as long as the condom remains intact.  By the way, if you have not had unprotected sex you are going to have to explain how you got trichomonas, and if you had unprotected sex you should be carefully tested for all STDs.

Get rechecked: the chlamydialinfection should be gone; however,you may have developed a female yesst infection, possibly from antibiotic use. Call your prescribing physician. oK to use Monistat-3 or Tderazole for feamle itching discharge.

Maybe: Sometimes there are antibiotic resistant organisms that are not cleared by Azithromycin Rx. The best course of action is to ALWAYS go back to the MD for a repeat Chlamydial culture to be certain the treatment is effectively completed before engaging in any further sexual encounters.

Hard to say: I would contact your treating doc and arrange follow up. You may have a separate issue that co-existed with the chlamydia or require a second/different treatment. Re-testing may sort out your present issue.

Uncertain: The safer bet would be doxycycline 100mg twice a day for 10 days.  My issue with azithromycin is that men can be asymptomatic with active chlamydia and this may not be enough.

Return to your doc: You should go back to your doc and be tested again.  You may not have achieved cure.
