No: A short course of Metronidazole or tinidazole is the standard treatment.

No: Azithromycin can treat chlamydia and gonorrhea infections, depending on the dose but it has no action whatsoever for trichomonas. You and your partner will both need to be treated and would need a different medicine altogether.
