May be or maybe not: It could be seasonal allergies, contact dermatitis, eczema. Need to consider all these possibilities ( or even more) before attributing it to anxiety.

: Stress causes headaches in many.  Headaches can be anywhere. Having a headache makes many more anxious and one can get into a positive feed back loop: head ache, worry about it, more headache etc. There are good treatments for anxiety and headache but must be directed at the cause(s). Cheeers.

Different sensations: Anxiety tends to increase your blood pressure and cause rapid but shallpw breathing which can produce light-headedness, muscle tension can cause soreness or pain, and with high anxiety and heart rate even tremors can develop.  Some people feel tingling or numbness and experience muscle twitches.

Most likely: Massage the area well . I think its anxiety, but if it persists check with your md.

Relax: All muscles in our body can have a spasm.  This would include the muscles of your neck and head.  I would not worry about an occasional or rare spasm.  You might want to try a course of motrin/advil as well.

: You could try wearing a beanie or ski hat. I only suggest this because 1) it would make it warmer and 2) it would provide a different sensation on the top of your head to "distract" the nerve endings. It would be worth a try.

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!
