Yes, it can happen: I've certainly experienced it and so have my patients. I think it often is masked by the fatigue symptoms of the condition for which it is prescribed. Also, i think the new exotic super strong antibiotics might be even more likely to do this than the old penicillin. Some innocent bacteria, etc. Get killed by the drug like unintended war casualties and can imbalance your systems a bit. Get well!

You need to see ur: Doc so they can address all of these problems.It's not clear why you are taking the Codine but this Rx frequently causes constipation,nausea,and drowsyness.U may want to cut back on this Rx in the mean time.

Yes, it's safe: There is no significant interaction between the antibiotics and the provigil.  However, be sure to always check with the pharmacist when you pick up new meds to make sure that all of your medications and interactions are carefully reviewed. I hope you feel better soon!

Yes: There is no bad interaction between these 3 drugs.

Severe vomiting: Like trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole , Metronidazole and alcohol can cause a Disulfiram -like reaction similar the drug, Antabuse (disulfiram) - resulting in violent vomiting. Doxycycline  in itself, can cause severe nausea and vomiting. As a result, you will not likely keep you medication down - which ultimately  restricts the effectiveness of the vomited antibiotic.

Not likely at: your age, but always possible.  Get to an ENT specialist for thorough exam.  Good opportunity to quit smoking.
