Yes: That would be OK.  You only need to take the Iron if you are deficient in Iron or if you are anemic.

Not best plan...: Some vitamins are not safe in pregnancy in high doses.   For this reason its best to avoid regular adult vitamins because the dose may be too high.  There are gummy prenatal vitamins if that is what you are able to hold down.   They are sold at places like CVS, Wallmart and Amazon.com.  Best wishes!

Depends......: If your child's diet is adequate, there is no need for supplemental vitamins. Most vitamins can be absorbed only to a certain level, after which they are eliminated. If there is a concern that your child is showing signs of a specific vitamin deficiency, you should discuss this with his pediatrician.

Yes.: Yes! every kids (and grownup) should take vitamin d. I recommend 400iu/day for babies under 3 months, 800iu/day for babies 4-12 months, 1000iu/day for kids age 1-11, and 2000iu for kids 12 and up. Multivitamins are useful for poor eaters. If your kid eats a big variety of fruits, veggies, grains etc. Every day, than a multi is unnecessary. If the diet is less than great though, a multi helps.

Today, however, many docs feel vitamins are beneficial: people under much stress benefit from extra b & c. Vitamin d is being advised for many preventive reasons. Multivitamins often contain trace minerals essential to good health that many might not otherwise receive.
