See below: Burning while urinating indicates a urinary tract infection but certainly could also be a symptom of vaginitis. This could be caused by yeast or other organisms and needs to be  diagnosed and treated. Menstrual clots are normal for many women, but they can also signal changes that may or may not be significant. I would suggest to see a physician for both conditions.

Most common cause: of blood in urine is infection, but it could be from stones or rarely from tumor or cancer.  You should discuss with your doctor if any further tests beyond urine testing is advisable.

Blood tests: Are you able to order your own blood testing? Diabetes makes one more susceptible to yeast infections, so a blood sugar determination would be helpful. Of course genital yeast infections can be transmitted back and forth between untreated sex partners even in the absence of diabetes.
