Yes, if it does not: pass on its own.  It will likely cause further problems within your lifetime.  Consult with a urologist because most small stones can be retrieved via ureteroscopy, without an open operation.

Usually.: It is possible for stones to pass without much pain. Few patients are this lucky. Passing a kidney stone is famously compared to childbirth. But pain occurs if the progress of the stone is held up, and the ureter squeezes against the obstruction. If the size & orientation of the kidney stone are favorable, is may pass without much difficulty.

Depends: Stones are of various chemical constitution and respond differently to varied chemical interventions.  In general, pushing fluids (hyper-hydration) will help increase the solubility of the stone so it will pass.  If you know which kind of stone you produce, acidifying the urine (cranberry juice)  may increase solubility & therefore allow the stone to pass.

Tamsulosin: It can take a long time or you may not pass it without surgery. Tamsulosin is a prescription drug that increases your chance of passing a stone less than 8 mm up to about 80%. Seek emergent care if you develop a fever with this stone.

Swollen after stone: Would call the doctor today  and let them know. Check for infection,  or fluid collection

Kidney vs ureter: A small stone in the kidney typically does not cause any pain.  A small stone in the ureter may cause pain anywhere from the back to the genital area in the front depending on position.

Repeat liver tests: Two weeks after discontinuing medication and alcohol. If still up, you'll get worked up for hepatitis B, hepatitis C, hemochromatosis, Wilson's, and a few others. This may simply be your body's way of asking for more exercise.

See a doctor: Have your elevated cholesterol treated medically. Kidney stones are not related to cholesterol. Liver calcification is not related to cholesterol  ; is observed unless it is associated with a mass lesion. Gallstones may be related to your cholesterol but they will not go away. Gallstones are observed unless they are causing abdominal pressure discomfort ; nausea after eating - then surgery.

after several tests with urologist for hermaturia (all neg) sonogram showed a small kidney stone. i am noticing blood after urine sometimes after bowel movements, is this the stone or something else?

Something else: The urinary tract and the bowel are not connected unless there is a fistula between them as a result of some inflammation common to both.
