Brush with no paste: I do not use toothpaste. I suggest you employ  good brushing without toothpaste and employ good flossing. Then get checked why you are reactive to the toothpaste or what is present in your gut causing you distress.  Issues surrounding triclosan in toothpaste are arising.

Possibly: A badly decayed or periodontally involved tooth can cause a sore throat if a posterior tooth. Swallowing infected secretions can cause GI upset. It shouldn't aggravate acid reflux but the upset stomach from infected swallowed secretions can make the symptoms of GERD seem worse.

Stomach Ache: Your stomach ache has nothing to do with your hygiene visit. The soreness from your cleaning will pass in a day or so. Brush and floss well and your hygiene visits will be less problematic. See your physician if your stomach ache persists.

Yes but it's rare: Avocados are a great source of nutrition. However, if you're one of those rare folks who are allergic to avocados, then you can experience stomachaches & pain as well as swelling of lips & mucous membranes, even breathing difficulties. Your family physician can refer you to a local allergist/immunologist for testing. If you have an anaphylactic reaction, be sure to keep 2 epipens (epinephrine) on your person.

If you are a women, >65 yrs of age, have a family history and have ever smoked you should also be screened.
