RSV common virus: Most babies who are hospitalized recover and return home in a few days. 
Some infants who have had RSV may develop asthma symptoms, but the course depends on a number of factors including genetics and environmental exposures. 
She should not be around anyone who smokes, since even the smell of smoke on clothing can trigger a reaction

Just like a cold: Rsv infection can present just like a regular cold with runny nose, mild fever, congestion, cough and in some children, breathing difficulty and wheezing as well. Infants older than 4 weeks often develop noticeable nasal discharge followed by wheezing and chest congestion, usually lasting a week.

They also benefit from fluids (breastmilk, pedialyte, or formula), humidifier in their room, acemtaminophen or Ibuprofen for fever, and sleeping in an upright position (30 degree angle in crib or being held by an adult).

Pattern of activity: As a kid improves you reverse the pattern of symptoms they acquire as they worsen. First they begin to take the time to drink in increasing amounts.(where they may have quit drinking before)  then they begin to have more playful moments.
