If stay away from the microwave, when it is operating you will avoid radiation. Microwaves are nonionizing radiation and are not expected to cause cancer.

The : The odds of this happening are extremely low, but yes it can occur.
Ovulation(fertile time) typically occurs around 14 days or so into a woman's cycle (for example if bleeding started on the 1st then ovulation would typically be the 14th, but could be a day or two before or after this)

here is an example of how pregnancy could occur in this situation: if her period was 7 days long and sex took place on day 8, considering sperm could live about 2-3 days, and if ovulation occurred earlier for some reason that month, there is a chance that pregnancy could occur. But as you see for this to happen a lot of "if's" have to occur.

Good luck and always remember condoms are very effective in preventing pregnancy.

41 not 14: Unfortunately, you are nearing the end of your reproductive career at age 41 rather than beginning as in  age 14. Ovulation frequency is irregular and infrequent at this age and the most commonly used medications are ovulation induction agents administered by MD's.

Not a certainty: That can not be predicted. It depends on a number of different factors such as how healthy you are, if you have conditions which are likely to cause reduced fertility, the health of your partner's semen,  if you have gained or lost a lot of weight recently, if you are an endurance exercizer, if you have morbid obesity etc. However, you are an age in which a healthy body is usually fertile.

No: Glad you quit so early you should have virtually no life long effects and certainly it won't affect a pregnancy or your ability to do so.

See an RE: If you suspect that your wife has premature ovarian failure, then going to see an infertility specialist would be the next step. You need a thorough evaluation because pof can occur at any stage in a woman's early reproductive years. Low ovarian reserve is just a description of how you will stimulate with the fertility drugs.

For giving  birth: to a child with DS your risk is 1:275.  At 16 weeks gestation your risk of having a fetus with DS is 1:200.  This is assuming there is no FH of Down Syndrome.  
These numbers are approximations based on no other risk factors. They all, however, calculate your risk of having a child without DS at greater than 99 percent.

Conception possible: At age 46 , it is more difficult to conceive, and if conception occurs, there is a significatly higher rate of chromosonal problems with baby; ;thorough work-up by infertility specialist may be indicated, including sperm count of husband or partner.
