Depends: It depends on the specific cause of the cramps, which can sometimes be related to a subtle electrolyte abnormality among other possible causes.  It is not really a “normal” complaint in a 25 year old and so a medical checkup and discussion with your primary care doctor would be a good idea.

Ultrasound first: First, a doppler exam of your pulses is performed. There are 3 major arteries below the knee. If 1 or more are missing or of poor amplitude, an arteriogram is perfomed. Sometimes at the same sitting, a narrowed artery can be dilated.

I cannot: Be sure whether Doxycycline can cause these symtoms, but you should notify your doctor who prescribed it for you.  Perhaps another antibiotic would work for your ear infection.
