To stay on a diet long term, a person must enjoy eating the foods, or quickly learn to like them.  Otherwise, one might quit the diet too easily. It is good to cater a diet to one's individual tastes.

Opportunity to help: Seriously! i always wanted to help people get healthy. Plus i'm more a one-on-one kind of guy so public health isn't my cup of tea. And i like doing lots of different things which is why i choose family medicine, which also allows me the opportunity to care for the whole family, from cradle to grave as we say. It's also given me the opportunity to do different things time.

Career decisions: If you have a retirement income already - consider doing something that you really love (even if it pays less). If you are really happy in your current line of work - consider continuing it. It is a major life decision - so recommend getting input from or bouncing your thoughts off others (especially if you have a spouse). Take care.

If beta major, there's the possibility of abnormal bone structure in face & skull, increased risk of infection, enlarged spleen that may rupture easily with blows to abdomen. Can't say: I had 2 classmates in their late 40s in medical school. It wasn't easy but they did it.

If you were in: a  small city without a hospital - it is possible that there might not be an oncologist in the vicinity. But, for the most part the answer is yes.

Catheter ?: I have never heard of "cather" however, a catheter is medical grade tubing that can be used for a variety of things including removing urine from the bladder.

Many choices: There are many different careers for professionals who work with sick children.  Doctors and nurses are obvious, but child life specialists, physical therapists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, speech therapists, social work and psychologists are among the many other choices.  Also, health providers of many types can tailor their practice or career to focus on children in particular.
