Discuss with MD: It is best to discuss with your doctor. There were reasons why these tests were ordered and there are diseases that involve both the lungs and muscles together. Also the degree of  elevation may or may not mean anything. We can't surmise what your doctor was thinking so discuss your case with your md.

i have low c3, high c4, high cpk, high ana, muscle pain and weakness and bad fatigue.  1 dr. said lupus. 1 dr. say ms. 1 dr said lymes????

SLE?: Hi, if these are all the symptoms that you have u still don;t meet the criteria for SLE (u need 4 out of 11 criteria, u only have 2, ANA and weakness), C3, C4 are not diagnostic just we follow them in SLE to monitor the response to the treatment, 
MS, per se, may not cause the rise of CPK unless there is muscle wasting due to inactivity, 
The lyme doesn't fit the symptoms much although it's not

high ferritn levels 650+ and i have always had colon issues pre-cancer polyps. test every 2 years. can ferritin indicate cancer?

Accepted Answer

Ferritin: High ferritin can be due to iron overload or any form of chronic or acute inflammation including infections but not usually a marker for malignancy.
People who have a genetic disorder leading to excessive iron absorption called Hemochromatosis do have an increased incidence of liver cancer.
If this is a possibility you should have further iron tests to rule it out.

NO: As a screening marker for ovarian cancer this test is of no use. It can be elevated in women with conditions such as endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, and uterine fibroids  to name a few. Its true utility is in monitoring for cancer recurrence.

recent high level of absolute esonophils at 570 cells/ul . rest of cbc and cmp in normal range. no new or severe allergies.is this serious? google says could be malignancy. what level of esonophils indicate cancer? should i be worried?

: Many elevated eosinophil's  counts are transient responses to Hypersensitivities and mild allergies. Repeat counts usually return to  less than 500 which is within normal limits. Persisting Eosinophilia, may be due to Parasitic or Fungal Infections and Allergies. Some cancers can also do it. There is probably no reason to worry but if still concerned a Hematologist Consult can help out.

if cancer was to cause elevated ferritin levels, how high would the levels get?

Depends: It depends on the type of cancer. The highest levels are seen in an uncommon entity called hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis. You may consult this site for more information on this entity.
