i hve buzzing in my foot, calf pain and my middle three toes are numb on left side. any ideas?

Sounds like nerve: Most likely condition would be a pinched nerve.  The nerves that supply the feet stem from nerve branches traveling from the leg.  The "pinch" could be from the back at its root, but it an also be locally due to musculature.  Another thing to be checked is circulation because if blood flow is hampered to a an area, it can cause pain and reduce function in the nerves.  Get checked properly.

i sometimes have a buzzing / electric feeling in my foot which is continual and can last for a long time. is that from nerves? what can i do about it?

Parasthesia: Medically speaking, we call any nerve sensation a parasthesia.  It can be your nerve that innervates your foot that may be irritated for some reason.  It can be diagnosed more definitively with a test called emg.  I would suggest doing more exercise and maybe taking some minerals such as magnesium and calcium, a multi vitamin may help as well.  If it continues to be a problem, see a neurologist.

ive been having buzzing paresthesia in my left foot since august. i got mris of brain and spine on 1.5t w/contrast. i also got an emg. all tests were normal. the buzzing has spread to my right foot. could this be ms? i have no other symptoms.

Please repost: Unfortunately, you neglected to state what parts of your spine were imaged (cervical, thoracic and/or lumbar). And knowing you had an EMG/NCS is unfortunately not helpful without knowing what part(s) of you was/were tested.

Nerve: Sounds like the nerve in this area is under pressure, possibly from shoe. A subtle injury may have occurred, is there any back conditions. Sometimes this can cause a numbness feeling in toe. See a podiatrist.

Repetition: Treadmills require individuals to repeat the same footfall repetitively.  As opposed to running in nature, the treadmill offers no variability.  This leads to overuse which can lead to pain along the entire kinetic chain.
