Yes: Yes transforaminal steroid injections can help function and symptoms but are not a panacea. Weakness tingling may indicate you need surgery. Neuropathic pain meds like SSRIs and gabapentin can help too.

See your physician: While you may not be passing liquid, your blood is clotting and exiting with gravity.  Lightheadedness suggest you are fluid deficient and you should see your doctor to make sure your blood pressure is normal. Increasing your intake would help also.

Neuropathy: These are symptoms of peripheral neuropathy that can happen ith chronic alcoholism and diabetes, check your itamin B12 and folic aid levels, you may need medicine to control your symptoms.

Not exactly: Any HSV type of genital infection could cause problems farther downstream in terms of neuropathy since the viral particles recede after causing their outbreaks into the lumbosacral ganglia and that could then, lead to problems in other root zone distributions but then, it wouldn&#x27;t be IDIOPATHIC and you may then, see the same blistery breakdowns you see elsewhere. Other causes should be ruled out.

Headache/stiff neck: While you don't mention fever, it's most important, if you have a headache and stiff neck to rule out meningitis, which should be done immediately in the ER. Meningitis should be identified and treated as early as possible. If meningitis is ruled out, you should seek eval for your headache, and consider tension HA, which may also account for the neck stiffness. Migraine HA can cause neuro sxs.

Diabetic: neuropathy ( burning. tingling , numbness ) is a consequence of poorly controlled blood sugars and may require life long therapy. According to the numbers stated your blood sugars are very poorly controlled. See an endocrinologist-asap.

Unlikely: Eosinophililc esophagitis (EoE) symptoms include food impaction, with persistent trouble swallowing, abdominal pain, vomiting, or heartburn that fails to respond to medical therapy. Burning/tingling sensations not typical symptoms. Iron is not absorbed in the esophagus so unlikely culprit as well. See allergist for further workup and evaluation including testing directed elimination diet.
