Probably shingles: Shingles can begin with pain only, without the blisters. The sooner it is treated the sooner it will subside, so see your doctor or a dermatologist for a prescription for an antiviral (valtrex, famvir) if he/she confirms that that is what it is.

Burning arm pain: Burning arm pain especially during physical strain can be due to some nerve irritation in the cervical spine... It can be from a disc bulge or arthritis with maybe a bone spur, where strain compresses the neck alittle more due to muscle compression. Maybe: You need to be examined by a physician urgently.  Neurological symptoms in one arm (like burning sensation) in association with headache is alarming. If either symptom is new, consider heading to the emergency department.  If you do not, at least call your primary doctor tomorrow for an urgent evaluation.  It is more likely not serious, but better to be safe and get a proper evaluation.
