i burned 3 of my fingers by accidentally putting my hand on a coil stovetop burner. this was about 4-5 hours ago. the burned skin is white, not blistering. im also still experiencing quite painful burning sensation in my fingers. what should i do?

: Place the area that is burned under cold running water immediately. This will help take the heat out of the tissue slowing the destruction of soft tissue by the heat. If blisters form use antibiotic Ointment

Burnning: There are many causes for burnning sensation in between fingers. Most common is B12 deficiency and diabetes.Other causes are amyloid neuropathy, b6 , hiv, vasculitis, lyme, vasculitis, hypothyroid, medication specially chemotherapy, certain medications.

Numbness: No the burning sensation in your left 5th digit is totally unrelated to the L5 disc protrusion but could represent an ulnar nerve entrapment or too much pressure on the outside palm.

ULNAR: The location suggests ulnar nerve irritation, perhaps from elbow but maybe at wrist (guyon's canal).  Alternatively, could be joint or tendon issues.   Perhaps associated with computer keyboard activity or texting?  May well be self-limited and reverse, but if not, might check in with your doctor if persistent.

Burning numb: This doesn't fit a logical pattern for a neurological illness in the back or the brain, but could fit with diabetes.  Check with your doctor to get screened. Exercise and drink plenty of fluid, avoid caffeine. Hope this helps.

Difficult to say....: Dermatological (skin) conditions are very difficult to diagnose without first seeing and feeling the lesion, however, interdigital (between the fingers) red bumps could be from herpes or scabies. See your doctor for a definitive work up.

Periph. neuropathy: Sounds like the onset of a peripheral neuropathy which can be related to underlying diseases, spinal cord arthritic changes with pressure on nerve endings, or spinal cord lesions themselves.  You need to see and be evaluated by a neurologist and would do this asap as the longer nerve conditions persist the slower the resolution.  Good luck.

Ct of head?: Why did you have a crush?  Need more information.are you left or right handed?  What kind of work do you do?  Need to give Aggies history but sounds like you may have been evaluated
