Doesn't sound good: A primary care doctor can evaluate to see what problems and treatments are needed. A person with asthma needs medication in cases of allergies, colds, flu's, or pneumonia (so his asthma won't get worse and worse, which in an unlucky person can be fatal). Burning, or other strange sensations, in the arm and neck may be from irritation to nerves as the nerves come out of the spine (dr. Can check).

Have  you been : Checked for mononucleosis or strep throat? Any yellowing of eyes?  Stop smoking right away. It you have up to two packs a day that will make things much worse. It is time to see your physician now if you haven't already done so.

Viral: Possibly a viral infection.  See your doc if you have fevers, difficulty swallowing or breathing and if symptoms persist for more than a week

: One may need to see the PCP or Pulmonary Consult to be sure it is not some form of Spasm in the Upper Airway that might be Exercise induced. It is not always that Exercise Induced Asthma is obvert.

Sore throat: Start by trying over the counter medications such as acetaminophen, ibuprofen, or a spray like chloraseptic. None of these should affect your thyroid medications.  If our symptoms persist beyond a few days or if you develop new or worsening symptoms see your doctor.

Burning throat: Greetings. The burning may be due to reflux. If you suffer from heartburn or GERD, then tums or a medication like Zantac (ranitidine) may be of help. Pharyngitis coming from a virus could be the cause and Tylenol/Motrin could help. See your doctor for confirmation. Good Luck.
