: In order for a herniated intervertebral disc to cause groin discomfort it would have to impinge upon nerve roots whose branches run to the groin. This would usually cause groin pain on one side however. I'm unsure whether a central disc protrusion pressing on the spinal cord itself could cause bilateral groin discomfort. A neurologist would know the answer though.

While these medications have traditionally been used for depression, they are also commonly used for a range of chronic pain syndromes. The symptoms of scrotodynia may recur with the cessation of medication.
