Reaction to wash: You may be experiencing an adverse reaction to one of the ingredients to the wash preparation. Contact your gynecologist if you have one for further discussion on the specifics of your case- you must feel quite uncomfortable.

PELVIC JOINTS: Instability of one or more pelvic joints can cause a pain patten of both "hernia" and vaginal pain.  Laxity of the symphysis pubis joint can cause these discomforts.  Osteopaths are good diagnosticians of these types of problems.  If there is concern for an " hernia", you should get a second surgical opinion.

: Too complex for good answers. The quick answers are 1) Yes for married women. 2) Entirely different vaginal infections. 3) Yeast burns and itches; BV does not. BV is associated with sex, but not necessarily an STD (sometimes yes, sometimes no). Here are two good websites. i have white discharge, redness, itchiness (sometimes) vagina just feels irritated. no burning while urination..does not hurt..odourless discharge.

Infection: The only definitive way to diagnose UTI vs vaginitis is to be evaluated by a women's health provider.  History, physical exam and possible culture based on the history and physical exam. More information is needed in regards to your symptoms.
