Pain: Ulcer presentation is usually more than just pain - indigestion, nausea, heartburn, pain with relation to food ingestion. Although, if you are taking Ibuprofen and other nsaids, the chance of ulcer is definitely higher. Stop those. Try zantac (ranitidine) or priosec, see if it helps.

Abdominal pain: Lower left side of abdomen pain can be a sign of inflammation of colon. Rarely it could be related to stomach ulcers. Would need more detailed history and physical exam for further recommendations. Please get evaluated by a local physician.

Very silent: pancreatic cancer is a very silent cancer, discovered by accident unless it is advanced.
the GI symptoms has nothing to do with the cancer itself, it is either unrelated other illnesses, or the cancer already advanced and start causing problems to the adjacent organs, like liver and stomach.
high level of suspicion specially in patient with family history might lead to early discovery.

i have the following symptoms: burning feeling in my chest and stomach. numbness, pain and abnormal sensations in the arms and legs (on the left side). muscle weakness and aches. is this neuropathy?

Don't jump the gun: Highly unusual presentation for first time neuropathy.  I'd check the obvious things first in what you've said then, move from there.  Check to be sure there is no acid reflux going on which can cause everything you're saying.  Makesure cardiac status is normal and then, finally look into possible reasons you may be anxious (i.e. New job?  College student? Marital issues?)  all the best!

i've been preacribed lansop unicorn 30 for gastritis a week ago. but my symptoms still stay the same and i am feelig unwell.burning sensation in upper abdomen, nausea, back ache. feeling bloated and uncomfortable. loss of apetite.

Doctor can recheck: Gastric reflux, stomach flu, or food poisoning types of illnesses can have some nausea, bloating, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach burning, abdominal pain, tummy cramps, fever, chills, loss of appetite, etc...  One person can have some or all of these symptoms. If symptoms are mild, they might go away in a day or two. Sometimes they can be severe or last a whole week. A doctor's reevaluation can help.

These can be categorized as: problems with inflammation (e.g. Ulcers), with infection (e.g. H.Pylori or parasites), with motility (examples: gastroparesis, gastric outlet obstruction), with secretion (hyper or hypo-acidity), infiltrative (lymphoma, cancer), blood flow (gastropathies), functional dyspepsias, etc.

Consider this...: If you're indicating your epigastrium (just below the ribs in the midline), then you may have peptic disease (e.g. ulcer, gerd, reflux) or contractions or delayed emptying of the gut in that location (stomach, mid-colon). Less likely (&amp; appropriate to symptom duration, intensity, timing, risks) your gallbladder or pancreas may be sick.  Best to get checked.

It depends: If this is happening all the time then it is high possibility of acid reflux (gastro-esophageal reflux disease. If it is infrequent complaint then it may be related to nature of the food or drink you have.
