: Regular bowel movements? .Are you constipated?  Other issues-may be food intolerances, early inflammatory bowel disease, unlikely to be diverticulitis as by 9 weeks once would expect fever, proctitis(STD, trauma, recent antibiotics) -rarely mass.,  Would follow up with gastroenterologist.

Call your doctor: Please see a doctor.  Although these symptoms sound very much like a urinary tract infection there are other diagnoses that need to be considered and ruled out.

Not related: Ovarian cysts can be normal by the way. Ask your doctor what they think.  But hunger, and bowel changes are something to do with your bowels.  You might need to see a GI specialist.   Left lower quadrant pain can also be from your ovarian cyst or from your bowel.  Need your doctor to help you decide how to tackle this complex of symptoms.

If not constipation,: If not pregnant and if not constipation (collection of stool in the left lower abdomen) that goes away with a bowel movement, then her primary care doctor can check to see what the problem might be. Her doctor can check to see if there is a mass of some kind in the abdomen or pelvis. In a woman's mid-40's, an infection, diverticulitis, benign or cancerous tumor, etc..., can cause such symptoms.

there's a slight burning feeling/discomfort in my upper left abdomen area. i've felt this before, but it went away. i feel it again, what could it be?

LUQ abd discomfort: It could be many things.  Is it worsened or relieved by eating?  Worse with exercise?  Exercise induced suggests musculoskeletal, food induced (especially fat) suggests gallbladder problems.  You are already on Prilosec that should help with peptic problems.

If it persists, a physical exam and an ultrasound may be helpful.
