Burn Wound: Silvadene (silver sulfadiazine) cream is  used with other treatments to help prevent and treat wound infections in patients with burns. Silver sulfadiazine works by stopping the growth of bacteria that may infect an open wound. This helps to decrease the risk of the bacteria spreading to surrounding skin, or to the blood where it can cause a serious blood infection (sepsis).

I : I would recommend you get evaluated.  These could possibly be actinic keratoses (see picture at link below), which are precancerous scaly areas that are typically seen on sun damaged areas.  They can be treated with liquid nitrogen if that is the case.  Regardless, probably a good idea for you to see a dermatologist given your history of sunburns.

Retin-A: Retin-A may cause a retinoid dermatitis and the skin may look red, inflamed and be itchy and peel. This is all quite normal for any retinoid especially during the first few weeks of therapy. You should hold the medication for now and visit a Dermatologist who may assist you in treating the dermatitis.

Nerve pain: What you are describing is classic nerve pain. If you have not had back surgery the only other source of scar tissue would be from inflammation like arachnoiditis . Often the burning sensation is due to the release of inflammatory mediators as your trigger points are released thru massage. If it continues to be a problem see your physician.

Scar management: If you healed your wounds within three weeks then you may escape longterm sequelae by managing the burnt areas with a scar care cream and sunblock. You would likely use the products for about 6 months. Don't use tanning booths in this period.

Probably not related: Ms primarily effects the central nervous system and most commonly results in motor dysfunction whereas peripheral sensory neuropathy is more commonly associated with other co editions or disease such as diabetes. Numbness could result in unrecognized injury.If this is a recurring lesion, i would suggest a possible biopsy to exclude other possible problems.

Yes, but consider...: Yes, a ct biopsy can result in scar.  However, the L3 nerve root supplies sensation to the anterior thigh.  Most likely there is swelling around or irritation of this nerve root which could be expected after this procedure.  If it doesn't resolve within a couple weeks, see your md.

: An exam will be needed in order to elicit a possible cause for inflammation, among others, a cheloid vs an infection will have to be ruled in or out and treated accordingly.

Depends: Some scars are worse than others. Treatment needs to be customized to your situation. In general, avoid sun, and use silicon gel ( neosporin scar gel or others) to get basic results. I strongly urge you to check with your local plastic surgeon regarding options!
