No way to know: Unfortunately, we can rarely diagnose a rash by a description.  Many of the words that patients use to describe rashes are nonspecific. There are many 'doctor words' that aid in description:  macule, papule, plaque, pustule, vesicle, and many, many more.   Even when doctors describe rashes to one another, it is sometimes difficult to visualize the rash. A picture is worth a 1000 words.

Scabies?: Scabies is an infection caused by mites which is very itchy at night. It involves wrists ankles, waist, armpits and genitalia. See doctor for diagnosis and possible treatment with safe effective medication.

Nondiagnostic: Your rash is nondiagnostic without being inspected by your physician or a dermatologist. The distribution of the eruption is unique for a viral infection. Could multiple insect bites be the cause even though there is no itch?

Rash: Rashes are hard to diagnose sometimes when you are looking at them.  Impossible to diagnose without even seeing them.  You need to see your doctor.

ive been getting big rashes on my leg and arm. theyre kind of round and kind of clear in the middle. its not fungus because medication did nothing. they start as a bump, itchy and turn into a rash. they last for months and the itch is unbearable?

: This has to be examined and possibly tested(culture etc) before an accurate diagnosis can be made and the treated. Pl see a dermatologist. In the meantime use an antibacterial soap to bathe. Hope you do well.

i developed a quarter sized rash 2 days ago by the bend in my forearm. it is red and bumps that look like small blisters. should i go to the doctor?

Itchy?: This sounds like it might be contact dermatitis.... your skin may be reacting to something it came in contact with, like poison ivy, metals, detergents, etc.  If it is itchy, try hydrocortisone 1% cream.  If that doesn't help, or it is very warm, painful, spreading, or draining pus, it may be infected and you should get it checked by a doctor.

a patch of red bumps emerged on my forearm, i'm scared because i fingered and kissed a girl that has herpes. do i have herpes? i didn't have any open cuts or blood transfer, i think it was jus a common rash!! i'm just scared
