can any bug be in my hair besides lice?

Well, yes, but...: Without question head lice are the most logical and the most common pests in the hair. However, technically any flying bug or crawling insect could potentially use your scalp for a temporary "hotel". Roaches, ants, fleas, mosquitoes--just to name a few possibilities--but these would not remain or "live" in your hair for very long. Ticks are common in texas as another possibility. See your doctor.

Can check every day: May be big adult lice. The usual plan is to have somebody remove every nit (lice eggs) he can find after the first Nix (or other lice-killer) shampoo. Checking hair and head for lice or nits, every day, will prevent lice from gaining a foothold again. Repeating the Nix (permethrin) shampoo in 1 week helps. As long as any and all nits are quickly removed each day, the lice problem goes away.

Irritation?: There coukd e sensitive nerves which cause disconfort. After evaluation if the skin looks normal and there are no underlying medical problems such as diabetes or thyroid issues, intralesional steroids Lidocaine may give you relief.

ID bugs, then treat: There is an excellent YouTube video to help you identify lice - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aA7rZ2dI5lw. If this is what you see in your hair, consider using the Rid for Lice 1-2-3 Kit, sold on Amazon for less than $40. There are other natural product choices listed in the same section. Be vigilant to assure success against adult  lice and their eggs. Treat your surroundings. Don't despair.

Lice: Your description is a bit creepy.   If you want to try a first step go buy some NIX (permethrin) germicidal shampoo and apply it to the scalp for a couple of hours.   Rinse it out well.    Examine the hair shafts for nits (white cacoons) and cimb or pick them off.  Wash all the bedding and buy new combs etc.  It maybe better to go right to the doctor with examples in hand to get a more aggressive approach.

This : This is very challenging to answer without a clinical picture and seeing in person.  I would recommend you see a dermatologist for further evaluation and treatment.  They can examine you and look for nits in your hair.  I hope that helps.
