Self care: There are many other reasons people neglect self care besides ocd and schizophrenia, such as depression, low self esteem, extreme fatigue and so forth.  Please see your doctor to assess whether a medical problem is contributing to this and see a psychiatrist or psychologist for assessment of diagnosis of a mental illness, such as Major Depression,etc. please get help. ocd can't tell fact/irrational? 3-week, i suffer hiv-anxiety, doctor"s" ensure my exposure not risky, but my mind still seek symptoms by thinking "im in window period, anything can happen". so tired, miserable. therapist told to brush it off. help !?

OCD is an uncommon, : but well-documented, consequence of TBI. The pattern of OCD, I.e., the types of obsessions &amp; compulsions, are very similar amongst patients with TBI, whether they have mild TBI &amp; normal MRI's or moderate &amp; severe TBI with bruising of the the fronto-temporal cortex, subcortical structures (caudate nucleus) or both on their MRI's. Just one more thing for which you need therapy &amp;, maybe, medication.

Very low risk: OCD will cause damage to whatever area is compulsively insulted. Infection is possible but seldom seen. Treatment often fails.

Possibly shingles: Often the early sign of shingles is painful skin.  Get seen right away if you see any rash developing.

: Traumatic brain injuries happen when there is a blow to the head by some hard surface or object. Pulling hair while untangling can cause superficial scalp pain, but cannot cause head trauma unless the brush is used to hit the head with great force multiple times.

im embarrassed but i masterbated using a hair brush today and noticed some bleeding afterwards. i used the handle. i am sexually active. could this have caused a cut or injury? will it heal on its own? should i wait a few days before going to doc?

: It will heal, give it a few days. If you still have bleeding/spotting a week from now, it would be prudent to see a doctor.
You may wish to look into clitoral stimulation for masturbation rather than inserting stuff into your vagina.

Seek opinion: Interesting set of circumstances.  If your Dentist has not been able to put his finger on the cause, perhaps an oral trauma expert, an Oral Surgeon, should be consulted.

Ocd: Obsessive compulsive disorder involves unrealistic thoughts/ fear that the person may or may not realize is unreasonable ;/or repetitive behaviors. A psychiatric evaluation would be able to confirm if you do or do not have ocd. Take care.

A mental health: Professional needs to diagnose ocd.  Symptoms may include a fear that something bad is going to happen if you don't, e.g., more a certain way, say certain words, count things, etc.  Psychological and/or medical help can be effective.  Peace and good health.
