Hematoma: The lump could be a hematoma which is a lump of coagulated blood. Warm applications tend to dissolve this type of clot. If it persists or enlarges, have your physician check it.

Get further testing.: You need more than a WBC and RBC possibly.  You may need blood clotting studies and testing of your liver function (which affects clotting times).  Please see your doc again. Avoid any over the counter meds and supplements for now, if possible.  And no drinking or recreational drugs!
