Considerations...: Causes of recurrent abdominal discomfort as described may be identified by first addressing signs/symptoms so as to localize the organ involved: in women: vaginal discharge or bleeding, alteration in periods, pregnancy risk? Fever, nausea, vomiting, altered stool pattern, blood with stool, tenderness, distension? Painful urination, blood in urine? Recent trauma, herniation? Stressors? Other risks?

Seek help: Please see your doctor. You may have some form of blood disorder which is leading to spontaneous bruising and GI blood loss. Abdominal  pain: It is important to know where the abdominal pain is.  If it is on the low right side of the abdomen, appendicitis must be ruled out.  If it is on the right upper part of the abdomen, it could be gall bladder disease.  On the left upper and lower part of the abdomen it could be colitis.  2 weeks is concerning and you need to be examined right away and X-rays may be needed.

does ibs cause tender lymph nodes on left side of lower abdomen? i have a tender bump which im assuming is a lymph node and its tender to touch. only started a few days ago. my bowel hurts around it too sometimes. is that ibs too or something else?

: Since IBS is not an inflammatory disorder, there should be no lymph node reactivity from it. A rather superficial lump in the abdomen wouldn't be a lymph node. Left lower abdominal pain &amp; tenderness is seen in sigmoid diverticulitis. I think you should have an examination of your abdomen. by a physician in view of the presence of tenderness and a.lump.
