25 degree scoliosis i'm 18 and stopped growing so curve won't progress. having a bruised feeling under lower ribs am i growing or is it getting worse?

Not correct: Curve can still progress even though you may be done growing. Stay fit and strong, swimming is a great exercise, get an xray at least once per year to follow. You will need to be examined to find out about the pain, can be many things.

my left rib has a feeling of being bruised if i touch my rib, it feels bruised? it's painless? what is this?

Bruised rib: May be costochondritis, an inflammation of the rib. Occurs with viral infecitons or mycoplasma, Can try a trial of NSAIDs if no allergy,. some times i give zithromax for mycoplasma if there are other ear nose throat  symptoms.Alternatively you may have inadvertently bruised it . F/U with doc

Contusion...bruising: 35 y/o Female says, Bruised feeling on edge of left rib and down left side to my hip? Most likely contusion/ internal bruising due to hitting that side of body on some object or resting too hard on a firm object like in climbing over a ledge or so. If not too uncomfortable should improve in a few days , else see PCP if 'feeling' persists.

Chest pain: This may be intercostal muscle pain. A frustrating, non-serious sharp chest pain. Usually with deep breath , or cough. Indomethacin is good for this. It hurts a lot because these muscles have  a linning, called pleura, on the inside of muscle that have sensitive nerves which produces this type of pain. Having said this, if in doubt always see a doctor.

Pain near ribs: This pain with a twisting motion is much more likely to be muscle or skeleton related versus liver or gallbladder.   If the symptoms continue, i would highly recommend you see your physician for further testing.

i have an achy feeling in my ribs and back. my ct scan and blood test came back clear. but, today i have a small bruise on chest. what could it be?

Trauma?: Did you do something that may have caused the bruise even a couple of days before?  If you cannot remember anything, consider an episode of particularly violent coughing.  If none of these seem to ring a bell, you may have a bleeding disorder or a sensitivity to the ibuprofen.  Ibuprofen can cause an increase in the bleeding time and make it easy for you to bruise.  If it worsens see a doctor.

: Take 2 tablets of ibuprofen OTC (200 mg x 2) or acetaminophen (500 mg x 2) and observe. If pain goes away you are fine. If pain persists off and on til next day or/and other symptoms such as palpitation, shortness of breath, etc. you should see a doctor.

hi, for 2 weeks i've had a pressure feeling on my right side underneath my ribs. it is not tender to the touch and is more noticeable after drinking.?

It needs to be check: Have it checked with your doctor as it may be related to liver or gall bladder.You will need detailed history and physical examination and if indicated further testing with lab testing and imaging if needed.
