Assuming: you do not have a platelet  problem you may have trauma that you are not "recognizing" (eg tight clothing" Sometimes "easy bruising" is seen in VITAMIN C Deficiency...you might try a Vitamin C Preparation..see if it is helpful!

Bruise: Bruise can take upto 3 weeks to go depending on how much blood is under the skin. Will definitely go away if the immunity is intact.

Bruise: For the first 24 hours, i would ice the effected area to minimize the spread of the bruise. After 48 hours, heat may be applied to allow the blood to disperse about the body. The amount of time it takes to heal is highly variable from person to person.

Get it checked.: Could be a skin cancer (basal cell or squamous cell carcinoma), or even a melanoma. Or it could be a benign lesion. Impossible to tell without looking at it directly. Have a dermatologist look at it at your earliest convenience.

Varies: There are a number of possibilities if it became a problem that you are concerned about I would not hesitate to be seen.  One possible cause can be plica syndrome, in which an abnormal band of tissue can cause the sudden onset of knee pain that could potentially be relieved by changes in knee position.

Sounds like a bite: because bruises are typically painful and almost never itch.  Were you outside over the weekend?  Try an antihistamine if needed (you may be able to find it in cream form) and apply warm compresses to help it heal faster.

Bruising: Bruising can happen from light trauma and sometimes can be secondary to medications such as Aspirin and other blood thinning medications, some otc supplements can cause it too. You had a cardiac stent, are you on blood thinners?

i injured my toe, it hurt, swelled up and bruised. put ice on it and strapped overnight badly.  after 2 weeks looks like a lolly and has internal itch?

Weight bearing?: If you are able to bear weight on it and move it then it's probably not broken.  An xray can tell for sure.  A blood collection under the toenail can evolve into wonderful colors.  If ithere is painful pressure under the nail then a simple procedure to drain can provide instant relief. Otherwise be patient and the itching is a sign of healing.  Eventually the nail may be pushed off by a new one.
