ECG for Dx: Brugada syndrome is a potentially life-threatening heart rhythm disorder which is sometimes inherited. A Brugada pattern generally shows up on ECG. Your doctor may also give you medication which helps the Brugada pattern "show up" on the ECG. I suggest you see a cardiologist to be properly evaluated for this condition. It might: Ajmaline is not available in the U.S.  Ajmaline is a sodium channel blocker with a very short half life. It is used to elicit the brugada pattern in patients with suspected brugada syndrome. It may prolonged the QT slightly in normal patients.

Long qt: Generally Ekg will identify the long qt and brugada syndrome. Family history is also important if you still have a question you might consider seeing a clinical electrophysiologist

Brugada syndrome: is something you can follow regularly with a cardiologist likely for the rest of your life.  I assure you this is necessary as Brugada is known to be lethal.  However, if you have high blood pressure you probably need to take a medicine that will both protect your heart and control your rhythm. Brugada syndrome: NO ,concealed  Brugada is very often the case needing provocative testing with ECG monitoring; get consultant help if concerned especially if symptomatic

Susp.Brugada:Consult: The Brugada ECG is variable. Not really a RBBB. Sometimes an unusal S wave in leads V1,V2 on ECG. The true Brugada ECG can be brought out with IV medicine by a cardiologist. If you or your PMD have a reason to suspect Brugada seek Cardiology consultation.

Pudently, yes...: Brugada syndrome, as you know, is a genetic disorder in which the electrical activity within the heart is abnormal.  Type 2 involves a certain gene affecting the sodium channel, adversely impacting cardiac muscle contraction.  Up to 1/4 of those with the syndrome may have an affected family member.  In my opinion, you should have a cardiac rhythm evaluation regardless of any pending procedures.
