will i be sick? i put on deodorant, and under one of my arm pits, it stings. i think i cut it shaving, & the deodorant says don't use on broken skin.?

You will not be sick: I am sorry that you are worried that you will be sick since this is not the case. I would stop using any anti perspirant or deodorant until the area has totally healed. You can then resume the use of it again. If you put a small amount of Vaseline over the area that was cut, it will heal a little faster

Rabies: Rabies is extremely rare nowdays in the us, especially as a result of dog bites. If there was any risk of rabies, it would be from street dogs, but it doesn't sound like your puppy is a street dog. Also, rabbit dogs would normally be expected to act accordingly. Your case doesn't allude to that. I'd not worry about rabies, but would definitely watch the wound as it is prone to infection.

Treatment would: depend on what the cause is. It could be an irritation from clothing or an antiperspirant, or any topical products applied. I would recommend having her doctor examine her so a proper diagnosis can be made and then proper treatment recommended.  Meanwhile, you could try applying Aquaphor, which is an over-the-counter healing ointment.

Cracked skin: Urea 40% cream or Ammonium Lactate Cream are both very good at softening painful calluses or dry skin.  They also prevent cracking.  You can find them over the counter or prescription strength.  You could also have tinea pedis, otherwise known as athlete's foot.  This would require treatment via antifungal cream or oral medication.  See a podiatrist for an examination.

Open skin wounds: Open skin wounds should be kept clean.  Apply an over the counter topical antibiotic ointment to prevent debris from reaching the abraded or lacerated area.  Skin wounds should be completely closed before any makeup is applied.

Capsaicin: If you haven't stopped screaming from pain yet then it probably was not capsaicin. This compound is an irritant to human tissues especially mucous membranes. Rinsing with copious amounts of water under a running faucet is one way to dilute the exposure.

It could be...: Athlete's foot. The best otc medication (in my opinion) is lotrimin (clotrimazole) ultra. Dilute vinegar soaks are good as well.  Dry the inside of your shoes by placing them up-side down over an air return vent at home overnight. If this doesn't make things better in a couple days, see a podiatrist.
