i sprained my pinky toe about 5 to 6 weeks ago. i did rice and went to the er a week after injury. they x-ray showed soft tissue swelling nothing was broken. i still need my walking shoe and crutch and have no movement in my toe. ?

week ago i broke the pinky toe on the same foot that i had a screw put in for jones fracture 6 yrs ago. had x-ray 4 days later worried about screw they said it was fine. now top of foot red and some swelling but it's more painful to walk every day?

: A Jones fracture is an injury at the base of the fifth metatarsal, located closer to the ankle than the toe.  Stubbing your little toe may result in a break of the little bones (phalanx fracture) of your toe but would not impart enough energy to hurt the screw or the proximal part of your metatarsal bone. The bruising of your foot is likely swelling from the toe injury. Use a hard sole shoe.

Yes: Yes, but it may depend how serious a fracture and swelling there is.  People have been known to walk on ankle fractures, so just because you can walk on it, does not exclude fracture diagnosis.  Hope that helps.

Usually with antibiotic and bandaid, assuming the broken part was taken off and no infection present one week or less.

Pain, swelling: And bruising after some type of "whacking" to the toe.  If it hurts to press on it and to bend it also, it probably is broken. As long as it is only in the toe and not in the foot, you can support it by wearing stiff soled shoes and taping it to the next toe.

About 2 weeks: It depends on how big a break it is.  If it is out of place may need surgery. If it is simple break, usually tolerable after 2 weeks, fully healed by one month unless you have diabetes or circulatory problem.

See doc, get X-ray: What you know is that your injured your pinky toe, but until you get an xray, you don't know if your broke the toe or any other part of the foot.  This can include the long bone behind the pinky toe.  You need to get your foot examined, see a foot and ankle specialist.  The sooner you get it checked the quicker you can be treated and get back to full mobility.
