Beyond soft tissue: Bone marrow edema is by definition beyond soft tissue trauma.   (However, it MAY coincide with soft tissue trauma)  Continuous weight bearing may certainly aggravate the injury.  Consider elevation at night and limiting weight bearing if possible.

New running shoes: It sounds like you need shoes with better support  for running. Stop running until the symptoms go away. Then head for a shoe store

??: What is ur question?  Can the tendon get cut from a hallux fracture?  I suppose so if the fracture is severe enough however not very likely.

Cut foot: I would listen to the recommendation of the doctor or surgeon who operated on you. He treated you, he should have the final say on whether you move your toes or not.

Piezogenic papules: "small lumps" could be due to a variety of skin or soft tissue conditions.  One common cause is piezogenic pedal papules which are small white bumps that may form on the outside of the heel. These bumps are more prominent when pressure is exerted on the feet when standing.  These papules are normally painless, however, in some cases mild to moderate pain may exist with added pressure to the heel.
