Use Tylenol (acetaminophen) alone: For fever, find out the cause of the fever, then use tylenol (acetaminophen) alone.  It is safer than Motrin (ibuprofen) which is an "nsaid" (nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug) which can cause salt retention, hypertension, kidney damage and heart failure.  Don't drink excessive amounts of alcohol, especially when taking tylenol.

Meds/cool bath: Tempered baths- not cold baths, tylenol, (acetaminophen) fluids and rest are usually required for fever.
High fevers for adults are more signif than those for children unless the children are showing signs/symptoms. Follow-up with your primary care md as soon as you are able.

Depends: Depending upon the fever height and its cause, use of anti-pyretics like Aspirin and acetaminophen, combined with tepid towel baths, or immersion in luke-warm water will help.  If this is due to heat exhaustion or stroke, this patient should be seen immediately by professionals, and even with ice-baths it may be difficult to control the fever.

Fever: Need more information.  Does she have other symptoms?  Is she behaving normally otherwise?  How well is she eating?  If you have questions about any of this the best thing to do would be to have her examined by the pediatrician or family doctor.  Always better safe than sorry.  Hope she is better soon.

Let her sleep: Fever is a natural body response to illness that increases the heart rate &amp;  movement of white cells &amp; antibodies that fight illness. Sleep is a natural response to the need for the additional work. I NEVER wake a sleeping child for fever meds. If they are awake &amp; it is dose time, I may or may not give it bases on their level of comfort.

Fever means germs: Fever is bodies natural response to some germ, viral or bacterial, that has invaded the system.Fever increases metabolism for the body to make germ fighters, raised heart rate to push the blood around &amp; bring germ fighters to the battle. It could be as simple as a flu or more complex like a kidney infection. Panado would be expected to influence the process for 4 hrs. Get evaluated if it persists.

Depends: How high is a high fever? If she is approaching 104-105 without response to tylenol (acetaminophen) and/or ibuprofen, then yes, you need to take her back in.

Depends on situation: If you have had a urine test done i assume you also had an evaluation with the testing. If the doc didn't find an issue that needed antibiotics you need to wait a bit longer & see if it resolves on it's own.Many viral illnesses act this way & often produce a distinctive rash at the end of the illness. Persisting fever is the bodies healthy effort to end the illness & is not necessarily bad.
