Maybe: A large clot like a saddle embolus may take the body a while to reabsorb. It can put some strain on the heart which takes some time to resolve. Your shortness of breath is probably from the residual clot.

Multiple.: IV - heparin, Subcutaneous injection - lovenox, (enoxaparin) Oral - newer agents include Pradaxa, Xarelto, and Eliqus.  Discuss alternatives with your doc.

Bleeding: alcohol may cause blood to become "more thin" while on coumadin (warfarin) and this could lead to serious bleeding.

Shouldn't interfere: Foods that can be problematic while on warfarin are those that are rich in vitamin K.  I don't think lemon is a problem (but might want to use caution if you eat the peel!)

Usually not: But need to be careful. You should check your blood levels carefully and watch what you eat, and monitor changes in your medications. Excessive blood thinning is a risk and can lead to hemorrhage and death.

Unknown: Vitex is chasteberry extract. Here's all that's known scientifically : http://nccam.Nih.Gov/health/chasteberry.  The issue with warfarin is usually that an herbal contains vitamin k (vitex doesn't) or interferes with warfarin metabolism (it's not known to) - so i suspect vitex is okay, but it apparently has never been studied. To be safe, let your warfarin prescriber know you're using it.

Probably safe: I am unaware of direct interactions between coconut oil and warfarin.  I don't find really any good studies addressing this specific interaction.  I can tell you that coconut itslef is not considered a high source of Vitamin K which would automatically rule it out as a food choice.
