Related?: The first thing that comes to mind is you have a urine infection.  I have never had a mother who is breast feeding ever tell me she had bloody urine without a urine infection being present.  Need to get this checked out by seing your doctor.

1 infections in bladder or kidneys
2 bladder or kidney stone
3tumours and cancer of bladder or kidneys
4benign prostatic hypertrophy and prostatitis
5kidney disease like glomerulonephritis
6 inherited alpert sybdrome and sickle cell disease
7meds like aspirin, anticoagulants, anti cancer drugs
8 some time strenuous exercise can too
blood can be visible or microscopic.

if a urinalysis shows no blood in urine  a week after a single gross hematuria event, does that mean the issue has resolved? (i.e. possible kidney stone passed, etc). i am on eliquis and had left flank plain 4 days before gross hematuria occurrence?

Yes, possible: Above scenario appears consistent with a passed stone, however you are left with the 2 conditions that contributed, taking a blood thinner and the propensity of forming stones and the risk for another such episode in the future remains high. Make sure all your treating docs are aware of recent events.

i stopped breast feeding 4 months ago  but still produce milk. could that make ttc harder due to hormones involved with milk production? i do ovulate.

Probably not: If you ovulate then you should be fine. Breast milk (galactorrhea) is caused by high levels of prolactin. Prolactin usually causes infertility by preventing ovulation which is not a problem for you. Best wishes.

Most times: Usually this is something not serious like the baby's poop being a little too hard and causing a tiny tear or fissure. That being said, it could be something more serious like a food allergy, infection, blood problem. You need to work with your baby's doctor to sort out "what", and once you figure that out, "how" to treat so it stops happening.

Probably safe : No medication can be recommended to be 100 percent safe. Some of the betablockers, calcium channel blockers and thiazides would be considered to be probably safe. Best would be to discuss with your doctor.

Period?: It certainly is possible. Remember to use birth control as you are likely fertile again.
