my omron bp meter when im relaxed says 107/70 hr75. i was a dr, was 145/94. was it higher due to possible anxiety?

Possibly: We used to blame this on "White Coat Syndrome" since many people get anxious at the Dr's office.  Additionally, pts are commonly unwell or in pain when they come to see a doctor &amp; all of this may temporarily increase BP.
However, if your BP goes up at the dr's, it's likely that your BP goes up in many stressful situations, so a high BP at any time needs further eval &amp; possibly treatment

how do these new glucose meters work?

Depends on the meter: There are all sorts of ways and machines to check blood sugar. Unfortunately they all still require blood. But they can attach to iphones, upload to the internet or even the cloud, use sites other than the fingertips at times the blood sugar is not changing rapidly.  Some can check ketones as well as sugar. Some can even provide output to pumps. When in doubt ask your provider and read the manual.

Albutero/combivent: Albuterol is a bronchodilator working through beta two receptors.  Ipratropium in Combivent (albuterol and ipratropium) works through muscuranic recptors as an antiinflammatory.  Albuterol is usally more of a rescue inhalier.  It is short acting.  You would benefit from being on something like advair or symbacort with albuterol to use in between those times when breathing is difficult.

Yes: Some of this is related to calibration, they can be marginally higher or lower, however if your number is significantly higher than usual probably means you need better control with your diet and adjustment in in treatment regimen if this persists.

Let me help: From 70 to 99 mg/dl (3.9 to 5.5 mmol/l) normal fasting glucose.

From 100 to 125 mg/dl (5.6 to 6.9 mmol/l) impaired fasting glucose (pre-diabetes .
126 mg/dl (7.0 mmol/l) and above on more than one testing occasion diabetes.

i have a hemocue meter for testing my hemoglobin. it seems to be quite accurate, have you heard of it?

Hemocue: Very accurate for measuring hemoglobin A1C in diabetes. Bear in mind that Hemoglobin A1C measures glucose control over the past 90 days, not today. It isn't useful to test A1C much more often than every 90 days because it doesn't change very rapidly. Glucose meter is more accurate. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!

Glucometer: Yes. Your pharmacist may be able to help if you lost the instructions that came with glucose meter.

i lifted a very heavy object 2 weeks after total thyroidectomy ....could that have cause any issue? i totally forgot and moved a heavy object and carried it 10 meters....?

: If it did not cause discomfort to the area of surgery, you need not be concerned.

Test/isolate: Have a screening test for COVID 19, self isolate and rest. Monitor your temperature and breathing. Take Tylenol rather Motrin for fever control, stay well hydrated.
