See a neurologist: It sounds as if you have been evaluated given that you have the results of an MRI scan.  Suggest you see a physician like a neurologist for further discussion about additional diagnostics and/or potential treatment plan.

: Different muscles are the prime movers in any of the actions you mentioned. However, all of the other muscles are need to provide stability for the action of the prime movers. So all the muscles you mentioned are indirectly involved in all the actions you addressed.

Not enough info: It is worth getting checked out. Thyroid issues can cause weight gain and constipation, which can cause back pain.  Just having all those changes something isn't right and you shouldn't ignore it.

during a ct exam of lumbar area due to pain in lower back and hips my ob discovered a cyst on my left ovary 34mm, it has grown 10mm in the last year. i am postmenopausal had uterine ablation and have bowel problems. what should i be asking my doc?

Need for removal: Ovarian cysts are not uncommon, but ovarian cancers can also present as cysts. Talk to your doctor if your lesion warrants removal.

66 hrs ago i fell & injured back. xray shows possible hairline fractures in 2 lumbar vertebrae but inconclusive. mri scheduled. how long can i go w/out bowel movement or sensation of needing one before i should start to worry about neurogenic bowel?

: A modest proposal:  why not ask your current physicians if there is any evidence on your clinical exam of either spinal cord or cauda equina damage?  Your constipation may well be secondary to analgesics if you have been provided opioids.

Constipation ; back: Constipation can cause some back pain and so treating the constipation may help your trouble. Consume more fresh fruits/veggies, fluids, and there are quite a few fibers available otc. Motrin/tylenol etc... Can help with pain, but i would advised getting it evaluated because your symptoms seem to bother you quite a bit. Consult doc. Good luck.

It is possible,: But not likely.  Intestinal obstruction usually causes crampy abdominal pain, distention, obstipation, nausea, and vomiting.  And you need to get xr's or even sometimes ct scan to be sure.  If you suspect intestinal obstruction, you need to go to ed right away.
