Yes, but...: Adult bones are stiff and children's bones are somewhat malleable.  Therefore, when an adult breaks a bone, it usually breaks all the way through.  In children, small fractures can happen that only "dent" the bone rather than break it all the way throughout.

There is no such thing, that i know, called sitz bone. The bones we sit on are the ischiums.
Sitz baths are used for hemorrhoids or after surgery for them.

X -ray: Don't know which bone you are referring to.  Unless you have an obvious deformity - then the only real way to know is through an x-ray.  There may be swelling, bruising, pain, tenderness & decreased range of motion.
