1.5x0.6cm lymph node left groin since 3yrs. not grown in size. spongy and when i squeeze it becomes soft. i'm worried of lymphoma. past - left leg toe surgery, genital boils, scrotal skin rashes.

They can occur from breaks in the skin, which provide a route of infection for bacteria to form an abscess (collection of pus/infection).  When this happens, you may need to see a medical provider who may need to prescribe you antibiotics or incise and drain the abscess.  Some home remedies may include a warm compress and ibuprofen.

Due the blocked up secretions especially is areas of repeated friction with accumulation of moisture. No treatment will completely cure it and you will get recurrent glare up's we sometimes treat with prolonged antibiotics in low dose to prevent superimposed infections.

Inflamed hair: follicles is probably what it is. Other possibilites such as herpes may exist.  See your doctor for a definitive diagnosis.
