this blurry vision in one eye that comes and goes occurs only on days when i sleep in a certain room. what could the thing in that room be?

Blurry Mystery: This is somewhat unusual. If there is something in the room that you are allergic to and the vision is affected, both eyes should be affected. Another possibility is that one eye comes open some during sleep causing dryness, and maybe this room is dryer than others due to ceiling fans, etc. Possibly also an allergy to bed sheets that come in contact with one eye only. Try covering the eye at night.

It : It sounds as if you may have high blood pressure. I wonder if you have been to a drug store and checked your reading? In any event you need to see a doctor asap as these are all worrying signs of elevated blood pressure and stress on the heart. Go to the er right away if you have sustained chest pain accompanied by shortness of breath, radiation of pain to your neck or arm or rapid heart rate.

?virus: These symptoms are consistent with an early viral infection which may localize to the respiratory or gastrointestinal tract in the next day or two. Keep your resistance up with rest,adequate fluid intake and use of Tylenol (acetaminophen) to relieve aches and pains or fever which often appears. See your physician if symptoms worsen instead of showing gradual improvement.

Vision: You should have your retina examined by an ophthalmologist as soon as possible. Sometimes this can happen then that is a blockage to the blood vessel( central retinal artery) inside the eye.

i have a really intense headache and blurry vision when trying to fall asleep, neither fully asleep or awake and it prevents me from fully falling asleep. the pain is really sharp in the front and dull in the back like my head is being pulled apart?

: This is a rather atypical headache pattern.   I recommend consulting a neurologist with a special interest in headaches. You may have  to call the department of neurology at a university hospital near you to find one. Any appropriate testing will be done.
