Blue nevus removal

Q: I had a shave removal that came back as "lentiginous junctional (dysplastic) nevus with mild atypia, to <0.2 mm of. is this of concern?

If it is not a melanoma, it is of less concern. Being dysplastic, is a pathologic concerning point, but with it's small size, I would closely watch it. "Mild atypia" is the key to the answer. That is why shave removal's never really remove these, just the top layer. If any increase in size, remove immediately.

Q: I have been suffering from melanocytic nevus scar on my face since year 2009...is there a permanent removal solution leaving my face scarless?

Many things can be done to improve the appearance of a scar, but once a scar exists there will always be one thereafter.

Q: After the removal of my conjunctival nevus, will my co-workers see anything noticeable in my eye on the next day? eye patch or anything required?

There may be some redness....reaction to the surgery. No eye patch generally needed unless a dressing was placed there by the Opthamologist who did the surgery!

Q: After an initial biopsy, with a dysplastic nevus result, is it the dermatologists discretion or lab findings that should determine further removal?

uses the results from the laboratory, their personal knowledge of risk, and a discussion of the options with you to ultimately determine further treatment. If the laboratory results are back already, make a follow up appointment with your dermatologist to discuss next steps.
