Brown blood: it sounds like you are having some breakthrough bleeding which is especially common with birth control pills.  Some breakthrough bleeding can occur in everybody but if it continues, follow up with your gynecologist.

The question: The first question is why u haven't had a period for 1 1/2 yr. You don't mention your age but if it is because of menopause u need to be seen ASAP. Menopause is defined as no period for 1 year. After that any bleeding is abnormal and needs to b evaluated to rule out endometrial hyperplasia which can b precancerous. If the blood is in ur urine it could be a kidney stone, UTI, or a bladder problem

Maybe: Light bleeding or spotting can occur during a normal period.  When women are younger and older, we go through hormone changes and our cycles can be irregular - meaning sometimes heavy, sometimes light and sometimes not occurring when expected.  If you are concerned about pregnancy, check a pregnancy test or see your doctor.

Tight introitus: When there is no blood on the pad during menses, but only when wiping in a 16 y/o, my best explanation would be that the introitus is tight and the menses so light that the blood gets trapped above the level of the vaginal entrance. However, when wiping the wiping finger(s) reach past the level of the entrance and therefore become blood stained - so everything is normal.

May be normal: I trust you mean March 31 and not May. Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or IUD.

: Can you definitely determine whether the blood is coming from your vagina or whether it's from the urinary bladder? If the latter, it would usually be bright red blood and also be in the toilet.  My sense is that  you're having uterine spotting instead of a normal period. Hormonal imbalance &amp; an anovulatory ( no egg) cycle are possible causes.  Your gynecologist can advise you best either way.

Residual bleeding: This will probably clear up in a day or two.  If it continues, see your ob/gyn doctor.

Blood between period: You  should be evaluated by a doc in the office. Causes of spotting between periods can be any of multiple benign causes, but this is also a symptom of endometrial hyperplasia, endometrial cancer, or cervical cancer.
