i got my blood test result. and my sgot 88, sgpt 110, and bua 442. all high? im 28y/o f and im currently taking this hcg drop. should i see a doctor?

Doctor can evaluate: If a person has abnormal blood test results, she needs to visit her doctor again to discuss the meaning of the results. The doctor must have ordered the blood tests for a reason. For SGOT and SGPT testing, perhaps the doctor wanted to look at the status of the liver or muscles in the body. Not sure what a "bua" is. The doctor will look for why the SGOT & SGPT are high (may mean further testing).

See your doctor.: AST (SGOT) levels double or triple that of ALT (SGPT) are consistent with alcoholic liver disease.  See your doctor about it.  The doctor will be better able to assist with any further treatment.

Can not tell: These tests are really misnamed.  They have nothing to do with liver function but liver injury.  Something is injuring the liver at a very slow rate.  Even mild elevations as yours are, if it persists over years then it can be serious.  It really depends on the cause.  Some causes are more of a problem than others.  It is important for your doctor to consider the cause if the levels stay elevated.

Go see your doctor: When discussing lab tests, it's imperative to mention reference range since different labs use different methodologies to measure different chemicals, resulting in different reference ranges. What is a normal number in one might be an abnormal number in another. Given that you drink 3d/wk, if your SGOT & SGPT are high, then stop drinking & repeat your tests. If still elevated, then get further eva.

May be, but more : Important is your elevated fasting blood sugar. By definition if you repeat it and it again comes out 127, you are diabetic.Please consult your doctor as your earliest convenience and discuss all of your results.

Kidney and Liver T: Egfr (normal >60), creatinine, bun/cr ratio are all lab values to suggest how the kidney function is, ast is an enzyme secreted by the liver, if its elevated there is something wrong with the liver (it varies from mild to severe). Check with your doctor or mentor about the normal values and the abnormal ones.

Tough to tell: The lab values presented here don't seem to be alarming. Each laboratory use somewhat different analytic method and so the range varies somewhat as well--so some levels maybe a bit high by one lab and ok by another, thus we need reference. Also, medication use, alcohol, drug and some acute illnesses can influence these values, thus these values alone don't mean much. Consult doc. Good luck.

Without knowing the: normal ranges for your laboratory one cannot say with certainty, however it does appear that your liver enzymes are elevated consistent with liver disease. Discuss your concerns with your health care provider.
