Bruise: Any puncture wound, whether intentional or accidental, can cause pain and bruising. If it is severe pain, or there is spreading redness and swelling, it may have gotten infected and need treatment.  If your pain and bruising is minor, don't fret, and it will go away soon. Getting mild pain and bruising is no sign of poor technique either and it can happen with expertly performed blood draws too.

Get medical check up: If these are pink in color, it could be blood. Such bleeding under the skin(if it is new) can be a serious medical condition caused by low platelets or some other blood diseases. So you should see a doctor who can check your blood with what is called a CBC and platelet counts.

Blood Spots: While i cannot see your spots, they sound as if they what are called angiomas. Tiny blood blisters. If you are in good health, and if you do not take any medications, they are usually harmless. There are some prescription medications that can trigger them. If you are concerned, do see your family physician. Do not pop them!

Doctor can evaluate: Blood spots on the skin are called petechiae (purpura if they are bigger splotches), and are due to blood cells leaking out of the tiny blood vessels in the skin. After the blood cells have leaked out, the area behaves just like a bruise (the body breaks down the blood cells into different colored pigments, and carries them away over a week). The Dr. wants to find out why blood cells were leaking.

If you have spots only on your arm(not all over especially on the skin of your legs, you do not have petechiea(unless you had your BP checked on your arm area. If you hahve any further concern(or these get worse) get your bloods counts(CBC Platelet counts) done to be sure they are normal

See below: That is unusual---it could be a reaction to the corticosteroid or if lidocaine/xylocaine if it was used.  You need to let your doctor who performed the injection what happened.
